Trainings are conducted in small groups (1:10) settings and in accordance with EMDRIA approved curriculum of The Institute for Creative Mindfulness

Option A (3 parts)
Registration fee of $1,200 includes:
– Part 1: November 8-10, 2019
– Part 2: February 7-9, 2020
– 10 hours of small group consultation (max 8 consultees per group)

Option B (2 Parts)
Registration fee of $825 includes:
– Part 1: November 8-10, 2019
– Part 2: February 7-9, 2020
[You will still need to complete 10 hours of consultation but with Option B will need to pay for it outside the training costs and can choose any consultant from The Institute for Creative Mindfulness]

Dr. Layla Asamarai is a licensed psychologist practicing in Minnesota and an affiliate training faculty member with The Institute for Creative Mindfulness.  She not only brings forth her experience in teaching and consulting with professionals on EMDR, she shares her rich clinical experiences of utilizing EMDR since 2006 in a plethora of clinical settings and with clients from diverse backgrounds.  In addition to utilizing EMDR with individuals that struggle with acute and complex PTSD in the community, she he has utilized EMDR with survivors of torture, refugee populations, critical incident responding, as well as with the use of interpreters. She readily shares creative approaches through which to apply EMDR in different languages, and with different clients in a way that feels safe for the clients and is effective.
