I received formal training from and worked with several leading providers including: Hazelden Center For Youth & Families with a specialization in Chemical Dependency and related recovery concerns; Cornerstone Therapy and Recovery Center with a focus on sexual compulsivity related issues of men; and Hamline Law and Graduate School for training as a Family Law Mediator.
My clinical experience has included consultation for the challenges and influences of anxiety, depression, premarital and marital/relational building and conflict resolution, divorce, post divorce mediation, domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexual compulsivity, substance abuse, recovery after sobriety, and life transitions.
I collaborate with parents developing new skills using the STEP method as well as conduct workshops for couples with relational challenges. Working with Alumni of St. Thomas University, I counseled premarital couples using the PREPARE/RELATE inventory and other strategies.
