My style is warm, curious, and open-minded. I believe therapy should be a creative space to explore what kind of changes you’d like to see in your life. Therapy is not easy, but I can promise the hard work IS worth it!
I have extensive experience working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, and psychosis. I use a variety of evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I also provide specialty treatment for PTSD using EMDR, a mind/body treatment that offers lasting relief from trauma symptoms.
I received my masters in clinical social work from the University of Minnesota and trained as an EMDR therapist via Midwest Center. I welcome people of all genders, political beliefs, spiritual practices, and cultural backgrounds. My choice to become a therapist grew from a life-long love of stories, and it is an honor to hear yours!
