About Me

Cardiologists are quite similar in their knowledge and experience to the role of the cardiac surgeon discussed above. However, while both functions are incredibly important and both types of workers will interact and work together on cases on a regular basis, the main difference is that cardiologists are not always able to or in simultaneous practice to perform actual cardiac surgery. Cardiologists generally function more like the cardiologists that patients see in an office setting, although it plays a key role in its own right.
